About WASP
Woodend Before & After School Programme (WASP) is a Not for Profit Oscar Provider based in Woodend, Waimakariri. WASP are approved by the Ministry of Social Development.
WASP offer before and after school care along with holiday programmes throughout the year. We understand how hard it is to find great childcare where your children feel at home and comfortable. It’s not easy being a working parent and at WASP we hope to it easy for both you and your child.
Our centre is a place where children can come and feel at home, our centre and staff provide a warm and welcoming environment and our children have a place to come and relax after school.
WASP children enjoy the WASP Clubs such as Gardening, Sports and Enviro-Kids which run throughout term.
We are located adjacent to Woodend School and are open from 7am through to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
With parents on our governing committee we know we are best placed to provide what parents need and want from an Oscar provider. Our tamariki and community Whanau are at the heart of what we do.
WASP is staffed by experienced and trained staff with a qualified first aider on all sessions. All staff undertake regular Police Checking in accordance with Child Protection requirements.
